The GIF
animation above was created by Tom Brewitz before the
turn of the century, in 1995 prior to Flash. The
artist developed individual frames in Adobe
Illustrator and Dimensions as vector 3D graphics. The
images were painstakingly rasterized using Photoshop,
one by one.
Keep in
mind, the speed of the sculpture animation here is
much faster than the work in real life. The visual
effects of his work must be seen in person or by
downloading one of the many MPG videw clips to be fully
appreciated. Thanks for waiting the long download
time to see the outcome!
Brewitz
creates a wide variety of styles. He has created
hundreds of unique works including wind generated
outdoor sculpture, air moved indoor hanging mobiles
in styles that include long spires, wall mounted,
small table top pieces, sculptures that spin, twirl
and more.
